This spring, we tested viral TikTok cleaning methods. After sifting through videos and analyzing recommendations from sources like Buzzfeed and Clutterbug, we actually cleaned. We aimed to find genuine time-savers, not just internet illusions.
We focused on methods gaining traction in early 2026, evaluating lasting results and realistic effort beyond surface shine. Some hacks delivered, while others didn't live up to the hype.
